Generously funded by a Nillumbik Shire Council Festive grant
Visit the Hurstbridge Hub this festive season to be inspired by SHIFT’s huge and beautiful festive wreath, woven by hand and made entirely of natural and sustainable materials by local artist Gay Chatfield.
We are also providing 50 Hurstbridge community members with their own small unadorned wreaths that they can decorate at home, using bits and bobs from the garden and nature.
Come along to the Edible Hub garden on Saturday 4th December to pick up your handmade wreath. Then watch the video below for step-by-step instructions on how to decorate it at home using flowers, fruit, foliage and more.
If you’d love a handmade wreath but can’t get to the garden to collect one, the video also has details on how to make your own from scratch. It’s a simple, sustainable, and fun activity for people of all ages.
