Cosy Cups Project

@ Bridge to Eden Cafe & Heart and Soul Cafe (Hurstbridge)

Reduce single-use products by using one of our clean,
FREE jars for your takeaway tea or coffee.

Grab a jar from one of our participating cafes in Hurstbridge. They come with a handy lid to stop spillage.

When you’re done with your jar, you can:

  • drop it back to any participating cafe to be reused
  • keep it, and reuse at home
  • recycle it to become new glass products.
We’d LOVE you to drop the jar back, as it saves us having to source and de-label more of them!

(Please wash if possible, as it saves our cafes work and allows a quicker turnover of jars. Thank you!)

Each jar comes with a cute cosy to protect your fingers!

Our cosies are handmade by our members from repurposed or sustainable materials, and designed to be reused each time you buy a takeaway beverage. We have cosies made from sock tops, secondhand rubber, paper, shirt cuffs, hessian, and cosies that are knitted and crocheted.

When your hot drink is finished, return the jar to one of our participating cafes to be washed and reused. Keep the cosy in your car or bag for next time you’re out and about.

And if you think the crocheted cosies are super cute, there are instructions for how to crochet your own here.
